The tectonic vase invites you to look at change differently.
Just like shifts in the earth’s crust (tectonic plates), we and our environment are constantly changing.
By enlarging the ‘cracks’, traces of change are recognized. The strength lies in the ever-changing balance in which nothing can exist without its opposite. A flexible mindset is open to change. Nobody is perfect, everyone changes, ages and it is precisely these human “cracks” that ensure everyone’s unique beauty.

The tectonic vase is available in three versions; Porcelain, Reglaze and Earthenware. Each in a different material with its own unique appearance and dimensions.
The earthenware vase has a beautiful matte glaze on the outside in different colours. By leaving the cracks unglazed the graphic lines get accentuated which catches the eye.
The Tectonic vase is produced in collaboration with Ceramic atelier Cor Unum directed by Charlotte Landsheer. This Dutch ceramic atelier based in 's-Hertogenbosch produces beautiful ceramics designed by nationally and internationally renowned designers.
Each piece is made with great passion and craftsmanship by professionals who often have a distance to the labour market.
