Sea silt ceramics, linking elements by Humade

From sea sludge to sustainable sea silt ceramics and glazes

In this exhibition we, show our research from dredged salted sea silt to a new circular raw material suitable for the industrial ceramic industry.

The whole process is also visualized with drawings by artist Jan Rothuizen.

It opened on the 3rd of June with speeches from the director of the national Museums Association Vera Carasso, curator modern and contemporary ceramics Wendy Gers and director of the Princessehof Kris Callens.

At the same time next to us the retrospective exhibition due to the 450 year aniversary of Kon. Tichelaar is  showing pieces from their archive that have never been on display before.

In the inbetween part you see on display our communual goal for the future. To produce among others facade panels and glazes from our circular raw material sea silt.

The exhibition can be visited from June untill the end of October 2022.

This exhibition can travel for information,

Bagger saai?
